Jacob Fields is a graduate research assistant in the Syed Mubeen Research Group. Fields completed a BS in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University and is interested in research on tactics to limit damages to the climate and environment by removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and oceans. He is working to develop catalysts and electrochemical reactors for large-scale chemical conversion of carbon dioxide into valuable, commercially relevant products.
