The 7th International Digital Human Modeling Symposium (DHM 2022) is a hybrid event being held August 2931, 2022, in Iowa City, Iowa, USA, and virtually.

The symposium will be hosted by the University of Iowa Technology Institute and arranged in collaboration with the International Ergonomics Association's Technical Committee on Digital Human Modeling and Simulation. The Iowa Virtual Human Summit (IVHS) will immediately follow DHM on August 31.

DHM 2022 provides an international forum for researchers and practitioners to report their latest innovations, summarize the state of the art in the field, and exchange ideas, results, and visions in all fields of digital human modeling research and applications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ergonomics
  • Biomechanics
  • Biomedicine
  • Wearables
  • Virtual Reality and DHM
  • Modeling and Simulation
  • Human Systems Engineering
  • Human Physical Modeling
  • DHM in safety applications
  • Human-Robot (Cobot) coordination and simulation

See the submissions page for a more detailed list of topics.
