The 7th International Digital Human Modeling Symposium (DHM 2022) was held August 2930, 2022, in Iowa City, Iowa, USA, and virtually.

The symposium was hosted by the University of Iowa Technology Institute and arranged in collaboration with the International Ergonomics Association's Technical Committee on Digital Human Modeling and Simulation. The Iowa Virtual Human Summit (IVHS) sponsored by Booz Allen Hamilton was included in the registration fee and immediately followed DHM on August 31.

Scope

The International Digital Human Modeling Symposium provides an international forum for researchers and practitioners to report their latest innovations, summarize the state of the art in the field, and exchange ideas, results, and visions in all fields of digital human modeling research and applications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ergonomics
  • Biomechanics
  • Biomedicine
  • Wearables
  • Virtual Reality and DHM
  • Modeling and Simulation
  • Human Systems Engineering
