Nick "Foose" Lorch was a full time design engineer at the Operator Performance Laboratory at the Iowa Technology Institute. Nick received his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus in Computer Programming and Entrepreneurship from the University of Iowa’s College of Engineering in 2006. Nick is currently pursuing his graduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Nick’s current research focuses on the integration of flight simulators with live aircraft, otherwise known as Live Virtual Constructive (LVC). Nick has extensive expertise in C++,C#, OpenGL, SQL, flight simulator customization (software and hardware), and systems integration solutions for airborne research platforms.
