Amanda Greene was an Application Programmer/Analyst at the Operator Performance Laboratory. During the spring of 2015, Amanda obtained her BSE in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Iowa. During her undergraduate studies she focused on software engineering and hardware development. At OPL, Amanda aids in the design and implementation of software, hardware solutions, and the development of embedded systems. OPL has also given her the opportunity to learn more about human factor aspects of the aviation design process. She is currently in the process of returning to the University of Iowa to obtain a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. She plans to focus on power systems and wireless communication.

When she is not working with computers or gadgets, she enjoys reading, playing frisbee golf, archery and video games.
