Graduate Research Assistant
Matt Conway is a PhD graduate student working under both Dr. Kristan Worthington and Dr. Edward Sander. He has a BSE in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Iowa. His research areas involve investigating cell and material interactions working with Rotating Wall Vessel (RWV) bioreactors to simulate microgravity and utilizing Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) for characterization of material surfaces and mechanical properties on the nanoscale.
Outside of the lab, Matt loves to watch Iowa Hawkeye games, golf, play competitive video games, and go out hiking.
