Steve Tammes is a graduate research assistant in the AER Lab. He began his research with sensors in 2019 with the University of Iowa astronomy department, studying x-rays. After publishing his results, he graduated in 2021 and began further work on sensors for remote earth observation for the University of Iowa chemical engineering department.
