An Iowa Technology Institute graduate research assistant has won a Graduate College Post-Comprehensive Research Fellowship for the Fall 2020 semester.
Mingyu Cai, a PhD candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, recently received the fellowship. His research interests include multi-agent networks and hybrid control.
At ITI, Cai works in the Additive Manufacturing-Integrated Product Realization Laboratory or AMPRL. His research interests are multi-agent networks and hybrid control.
In December 2019, Cai presented at the 58th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, in Nice, France. The CDC event is recognized as the premier scientific and engineering conference dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practice of systems and control.
