The latest edition of Iowa Engineer magazine highlights the work of several faculty, staff, and students affiliated with the University of Iowa Technology Institute as well as the great work of colleagues across the College of Engineering. 

Among ITI members highlighted: 

• ITI's first annual Iowa Virtual Human Summit.
• A look at Martell Bell’s passion for engineering. Bell is a PhD candidate and a graduate student research assistant who works in the Laser Materials Processing Lab directed by Hongtao Ding.
• Jennifer Fiegel offered insight on engineering ethics and a focus on engineering for human health.
• Prof. Stephen Baek’s artificial intelligence research. Baek had been a faculty affiliate with ITI before departing in the summer of 2021 for the University of Virginia.
