Brett "Rock" Hanson was a research assistant at the Operator Performance Laboratory at the University of Iowa. Brett is an Iowa City native and graduated Iowa City West High in May of 2010. He is currently a sophomore at the University of Dubuque pursuing a degree in aviation. Brett is a commercial pilot and has been flying since 2007. When Brett is not at school he works at OPL. He started working at the OPL in the summer of 2009 and helps out with projects by integrating and fabricating hardware in both cars and aircraft, and assists in general aircraft maintenance.
