Andrew Advani joined the Operator Performance Laboratory, as an intern, in May 2015. He is currently working on completing his bachelor's degree in the Aerospace Engineering program at Iowa State University, where he is also working on an aerospace design project, sponsored by Boeing. The University of Iowa’s OPL lab teaches him the human factors aspects of the aerospace and aviation design processes. His duties at OPL include assisting our research engineers with experimental apparatus design, hardware implementation, and data acquisition. He also helps in the periodic maintenance of the aircraft and other vehicles used in our research (e.g. HMMWV and Lexus LS 430). Outside of work, his hobbies include flying, biking, and playing video games.
